Our Goals

The Guivy Zaldastanishvili American Academy in Tbilisi Math and Science Journal aims to promote student interest in science. 

We publish selected articles written by high school students in mathematics, natural sciences, and social sciences. The articles are reviewed by field professionals. We aim to engage both students and professionals from within and outside the school community.

The goals are as follows:

• to encourage students to do in-depth research and write about topics of their interest in math, science, economics, and other fields of study;

• to help students identify problems and propose their own viewpoints or alternative solutions;

• to help students learn how to write a scientific article;

• to help students learn how to do research;

• to encourage creative thinking, experimentation, and problem-solving.
